A very nice (and very brief) Larry Cohen article on opening leads.
A good introduction to scoring.
Deal Me In is the American Contract Bridge League's (ACBL) monthly newsletter for new players. Each issue includes articles and puzzles aimed at players who are new to the game. You can subscribe to Deal Me In here.
There is a nice version of Minibridge online at https://dkmgames.com/Minibridge/ where you will play with three robots.
Bridge has a language of its own. Here is a glossary of bridge terms that I think will be helpful.
"Learn to Play Bridge in 5 Minutes" is (not surprisingly) a five minute introduction to bridge.
Bridge Base Online (BBO) has a lot to offer and is free. You can play in a wide variety of online games, play against robots, and practice bidding with your partner. Just Play Bridge, Just Declare, and Bridge Master on the Solitaire tab are great. Bridge Master is an excellent tool for players at all levels (but beware, even the first-level hands on Bridge Master are tough). You can try a Bridge Master problem as many times as you like and then read Bridge Master’s solution. You can also kibitz pros on BBO - this is a great way to learn.
The Daily Challenge on IntoBridge is a lot of fun and a great way to learn. Play five hands with a robot and then watch a video where a bridge pro explains how he or she would play those hands.
A very nice 10-minute introduction to scoring in bridge.
The Larry Cohen and Patty Tucker websites have a lot of valuable material for new and advancing players. They are both terrific bridge teachers; both are members of the bridge Hall of Fame.
The American Contract Bridge League is the largest bridge organization in North America. The website has a lot of material for new players. You will find four minibridge games on the Play Bridge tab that are great ways to practice. You might want to join ACBL at some point; ACBL offers a free 120-day membership (you do not need to be a member to use the material on the website).
Sorry, Partner is a "podcast about bridge and all things interesting to bridge players" co-hosted by Catherine Harris and Jocelyn Startz. Jocelyn is a long-time member of QuickTricks.
Kerry Gorman's very nice discussion of finesses.
