My playlist is about pink and pop music. Since the premiere of Barbie last summer, I’ve loved witnessing the revival of the color and what it stands for.  Music with faster rhythms, like pop music with its usual 100-130 bpm, is associated with liveliness. My intended audience is anyone wanting to improve their mood with a song everyone knows. There’s the same level of upbeat rhythm and inspiring lyrics throughout. To create the visual, I used pink and yellow images gathered from Pinterest. Creating this project helped me understand that there’s nothing wrong with the stereotypically feminine nature of popular music.
