LEAP: A Therapeutic Preschool for Speech & Language Development at UMD

Program Schedule:

SUMMER 2026:

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Morning (8:45 AM to 12:10 PM) or Afternoon (12:45 PM to 4:10 PM) 

NEXT SCHOOL YEAR, BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 14:

Monday to Friday

8:45 AM to 12 PM

Specialized Speech and Language Therapy:

At the LEAP Preschool, we understand the importance of early intervention and personalized attention. That’s why every child enrolled in our program receives 90 minutes of one-on-one speech and language therapy sessions each week. These sessions are conducted by speech-language pathology students, ensuring your child’s communication needs are met with thoughtfulness and care.

Our dedicated team consists of certified speech-language pathologists, as well as undergraduate and graduate students who are studying to become speech-language pathologists.
