I have a background in Physics and Astronomy but have recently become a geology convert! I am broadly interested in the understanding the evolution of the inner solar system through an isotope geochemistry perspective. My current research focuses on the behavior of highly siderophile elements in Martian and iron meteorites. In the past I have investigated the feasibility of using the LA-ICPMS technique to yield Rb-Sr ages of rocky planetary bodies in situ. I was a team member of the DALI-funded KArLE (Potassium Argon Laser Experiment) project, which advances multiple in situ analytical techniques to establish the ages of planetary materials.
I am passionate about promoting inclusive science education that allows for science to be accessible to a wider audience. I enjoy reading and hiking in my free time, along with raising many houseplants and an adorable cat. My cat, Raat ki Rani, enjoys napping, glaring at me during my Zoom meetings, and scratching my yoga mat. She deserves her own website but doesn't photograph well.
