Our Team
Dr. ALexandra Jones
Our research team is led by Assistant Clinical Professor, Dr. Alexandra Jones. She is an instructor in the FIRE program and the Co-Director of the Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences Undergraduate Program. She has a Master's degree and PhD in Atmospheric Science from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Science from the University of Albany.

Annual Cohorts of undergraduate researchers
Each January Cloud Computing welcomes a new cohort of second semester freshmen undergraduate students from the FIRE program. They spend 2 semesters in the research group learning the tools and methods necessary to move our research forward. Some spend the summer gaining additional experience (summer scholars or fellows), and some stay for an extra semester or two (peer research mentors) to mentor the next cohort.
