About These Workshops

Building upon what we already have in the overall course description, this hands-on workshop series picks up on some common DH methods, tools, and applications in humanistic research. Participants can get an overview of digital approaches, practices, and technologies. It will provide those who are interested in DH studies with further knowledge, practical examples, and skills in exploring new technologies, thinking through new technologies, and using them to initiate and facilitate your own DH studies.

Learning Objectives:

• Participants will become acquainted with the current landscape of the field of digital humanities.

• Participants will become familiar with the resources, tools, and methods to support work on digital teaching and research projects.

• Participants will learn from the examples of DH projects and get ready to initiate their own DH studies.
