MHA + Doctor of Medicine
The MD/MHA Program is a five-year integrated program completed at the University of Maryland School of Medicine (SOM) and at the University of Maryland School of Public Health (SPH) at College Park. Students accepted in the Program will spend their first three years in Medical School. In Year 4, students will enroll in courses at the SPH to complete a full year of the MHA program (24 credits). In Year 5 (M4), students will complete their clerkships, electives, sub-internships, MHA Internship, and take USMLE Part II. There is no limit on the number of spaces in the MD/MHA program at either SPH or SOM. The students have a maximum of 7 years to complete the program at both institutions.
