Kirena manivannan
Kirena is an alumnus of the University of Maryland iSchool (2019). She was involved with CompSciConnect (2016-2019) as a student teacher since her freshman year and continued to volunteer with the Iribe Center throughout her college years supporting outreach programs at local schools.
She currently works at Vanguard as a Tech Lead for a full-stack software team supporting equity and fixed-income portfolio traders. She is interested in bridging the gap in financial literacy with technology. In her free time, she likes to hike and play video games.
