About Me

Biography & Personal Statement

Casey Kenreich is a Sophomore from Montgomery County, MD studying Immersive Media and Studio Art at the University of Maryland. He loves traveling, watching movies, playing tennis, and working out. On campus he participates in Club Tennis, the Japanese American Student Organization, and the UMD Veritas short-film club. Currently, he helps manage the Arts Scholars social media. His artistic background includes mainly studio art, creating acrylic paintings and charcoal drawings, with some experience in digital art and creative coding. He plans to work in the computer science/graphic design fields when he graduates.

As a College Park Arts Scholar, Casey is excited to have a community to share his work and broaden his experiences with art . He hopes he may better express himself through unfamiliar art styles, like writing and music. As a Scholar, he is looking forward to another year of community-building and professional development.
