Creative Process

What I learned about the creative process...

Through this creative process, I learned the importance of iteration and time management. Iteration was used through conducting research about hostile architecture and the psychological impacts, sketching design ideas for the bench, completing critique assignments, and more. Iteration helped me to make mistakes and quickly change or adapt them to improve my overall project design. This process provided challenges with time management and keeping up with the benchmarks I had set for myself. While working on this project, there were many other obstacles in the way. I utilized the technique of completing one task at a time to make sure I am dedicating enough time to effectively complete my benchmarks. I used google calendar for keeping track of assignment due dates and worked on collaborating with my partner, Damaya to finish tasks. At times, I fell behind and had to modify my benchmarks to finish the questionnaire and design sketches for the accessible bench.
