Eliana Abrahams
Digital Collage
Voices on the Lawn seeks to showcase the past, present, and continuity of protest and advocacy on the University of Maryland's Campus. Through three collages, one in black and white highlighting photos from the 1970s to early 1990s, one in color showcasing photos from the late 1990s-present, and one complete with only protest posters from both time frames, all three are able to demonstrate the role that advocacy plays on UMDs campus. These are able to show continuity and also change through a wide variety of issues and conflicts that students have shown up for throughout the years
