The Scent of Emotion is a series of candles and oil reed diffusers of various scents designed to answer the question of how our sense of smell can awaken emotions and memories to help us form a sense of place in the spaces we enter. A scent can awaken the images, perceptions, emotions, and memories that we have associated with it. Smelling becomes a unique experience using an individual’s awareness and memories to define what the smell represents and it is responded to.
