For my Capstone Project's creative process, I learned about the importance of the prototyping and editing phases. In CPSA250, we were taught about implementing iteration in our Capstone work during our Project Management Challenges. These iteration practices included sketching for visual artwork when prototyping and "killing your darlings", which was the concept of refining your work in the editing process (Institute of Design at Stanford). I made multiple sketches of my initial outfit ideas. From there, I used the concept of "killing your darlings" to improve my sketches and finalize my Indian Fashion Outfit ideas.
We also discussed time management strategies. My time management strategy was to use a weekly agenda of this semester to plan what parts of the project I wanted to be working on or finished with. This helped me stay on track throughout the semester and reach important deadlines. For example, I had specific weeks where my goal was to work on sketching and/or finish my different art pieces.
