Creative Process

What I learned about the creative process...

Throughout my time in CPSA250, I have learned more about using my time wisely when it comes to creating art. When I was in the process of drawing my cover I realized this was one of the main parts of my story that people would have a first glance, so I had to put my all into creating, designing, and coloring the most creative result I could have. Throughout this creation I set certain time slots where I would work on different parts of this process whether it be through sketching or coloring I always had something to complete during this block. Time boxing is a very important method to me for I have a chunk of time to focus on one thing instead of constantly multitasking and rushing to get something done on time. Eventually, through all the work I continuously put in, I finished my cover from a simple sketch to getting the finalized piece printed and published. I can easily admit how difficult it is for me to be able to focus on what's important and sit down and create something I am proud of; I successfully overcame this challenge and it is safe to say I have learned new ways to efficiently create art.
