When creating the workshop it was initially thought of as the use of images to create a setting and mood and how it can change the words at play. As research was done on world-building it was discovered that the writing of world-building and the drawings play an impact on world-building. So, the research shift to how world-building works, who its main contributors are , and how to use world-building to tell a better story. I had learned many topics and processes on world-building and how to implement it was difficult to turn it into a cohesive plan. Then find a way on how to share this knowledge to the rest of the class. Kameron Hurley points out “I'm not going to tell you how to start a bug-powered vehicle, I'm just going to put you inside one with somebody who knows how, and send you off on a ride.”( Kameron Hurley) as he points out that worldbuilding isn't all about making a functional world but instead create a character who lives in that world. So, I the use of a lesson plan helped me run the workshop, as a workshop leader we had many hiccups on how the class is to function and what to do in the class and as a first time teacher I had little experience. During discussion especially in classroom management I learned that having a set lesson plan and having many activities and back up activities and icebreakers really do help in setting the mood of the class. I also learned that for me having a presentation helped keep the class in schedule and setting up activities that encourage critical thinking was spectacular in bring out the creativity in workshop participants.
