During the course of the last two semesters while developing and conducting this capstone project, I would be lying if I said there was never a moment where it felt overwhelming. This feeling came up a few times at least with such a big project, especially in the beginning prepping stages. However everything went accordingly, and without this experience, I never would have learned so much about my own creative process and techniques. During the inital research process I was so excited and had so many ideas that I wanted to research, but I had to accept the frustrating reality that I was going to have to narrow down my ideas to a sigular topic and thus I decided to go with the statistcal analysis on the correlation between Lo-Fi Hip Hop and Academic performance. In preparring this project I didn't know if all would be possible but thanks to some of the creative techniques taught by Heather in CPSA250, my capstone was able to prevail. Out of all the different techniques we learned, I found the Eisenhower Matrix most benificial for time management. This punnet square like diagram is divided by urgency and importance. This helped me to find what was urgent and important, and what was important but could be prioritzed further down my list. Finally it helped to find what wasn't urgent and what wasn't important, which helped me to feel less overwhelmed by narrowing down and organizing my to-do list.
