Hi, I am Alex Jian Zheng, a first-year Ph.D. student at the College of Information Studies (iSchool), University of Maryland, College Park. I work with Prof. Eun Kyoung Choe. My research is generally about Human-Computer Interaction. 

Before joining iSchool, I worked as a research assistant at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Tsinghua University in  Prof. Pei-Luen Rau's lab. I have also worked as a researcher at CTR Market Research and a data analyst at the Collaboration Innovation Center of Assessment for Basic Education Quality.

I got my bachelor's and master's degree from the School of Psychology, Beijing Normal University with Prof. Li Liu as my advisor.
