A three-week virtual summer camp, exposing students to personal growth, education, and hands-on experiences in artificial intelligence presented by faculty, guest lecturers, and University of Maryland students.
Meet our Participants
Research project pages are below. Students and their graduate student leads will be in their Zoom rooms from 3:20pm-4pm
Please join us in the main Zoom room if you need help or if you have questions.
Built a Convolutional Neural Network, implemented an adversarial attack, and implemented adversarial training to increase the robust accuracy of an image classifying model.
Developed a Convolutional Neural Network to classify leaf images from 185 tree species.
Generating images using artificial intelligence
Developed a Convolutional Neural Network that predicts the emotion in speech audio samples.
Developed a sentiment analysis model for social media content like tweets. Given a tweet, our model can predict whether the sentiment expressed in the tweet is negative, positive or neutral. We present results for some classical machine learning algorithms and two deep learning models.
