A covenant group is a small relational group made up of six to twelve people who meet monthly via Zoom to grow and be nurtured within the UMCRM community. Covenant groups provide an opportunity for camp and retreat leaders to build strong relationships with one another and build connection through support with colleagues and friends.
Covenant groups encourage people to talk, learn, and confide in each other over time. Members may tell their life stories, offer support, and engage in discussions that bring value to their lives and ministries. Covenant groups offer expanding opportunities for growth, caring and connection within the UMCRM family.
Our Intentional Leadership Groups (ILGs) are covenant groups that meet around specific topics. Each group has a group leader that guides the discussion around the group topic each month.
Our traditional covenant groups are an informal way for camp and retreat leaders to connect with each other on a regular basis. You will meet new people who understand the joys and struggles of this ministry. These informal groups decide as a whole on when to meet and what to talk about.
