Weight Calculation Utility

Determining the correct weight for dual analysis of d15N and d13C can be tricky, depending on C/N of the material considered. Here, you can download our spreadsheet to determine the correct amount of material you should weigh into tin cups for stable isotopes analysis on our EA-IRMS. Note that for very high or very low C/N, dual analysis is not possible, and you will want to have the samples run separately, at an extra cost.
