Introductory Course in Data Interpretation

Interpret and visualize your data for better communication.

This two-day course, led by the Integration & Application Network (IAN) of the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, provides participants with a data interpretation toolbox for effectively understanding and communicating their data.

Participants will:

learn basic data interpretation techniques
create their own science communication products
gain experience using Excel, Powerpoint, Adobe Illustrator, and the IAN Symbols Library
