Led recruitment efforts with rehabilitation centers to acquire involvement in ARTEMIS PAC and applied awareness of cultural values and practices to the design of recruitment materials to bring together a group of people with lived or living polysubstance use experiences in rural Maryland

Youth and HIV/AIDS Capacity Building Specialist
Acquired funding from a local NGO, Sentebale, to implement a youth HIV+ support group for 10-19 year old individuals in Sehithwa and surrounding villages. This support group is facilitated by local nurses, health educators, guidance and counseling teachers, and social workers.
Planned and implemented the first literacy bike tour in Botswana in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, which involved biking 400 kilometers to 8 villages to present new methods of literacy education and do literacy activities with schools over the course of two weeks.
Assisted and implemented the first Girls/Guys Leading Our World Camp (GLOW Camp) in Ghanzi Region of Botswana, which allowed 108 kids to learn about HIV prevention, nutrition, consent, gender, leadership, peer pressure, and self-esteem through fun and interactive activities
