THE AUTHOR & TETR.IO

I chose tetr.io because it is a game i've been playing for years. i was introduced to it around 2021. when i'm not doing work, i'm usually on this game. I think I might be addicted. i like to play music or listen to youtube videos while doing so. i enjoy the competitive aspects, and especially admire the different modes. i love puzzle/strategy games that are fast-paced, so this game is absolutely perfect for me. it's also how i bond with some friends!

i honestly found it difficult to explain some of the premises of the game, so i featured a fairly in-depth video. i would honestly show this to other people that are interested in trying the game out. i also made sure to use screenshots from the game itself! A few screenshots involve my own gameplay. 

i wanted a video game-esque appearance, as tetris is an older game, and i enjoy the aesthetic of the 1980's. i love the colors and texts so much! I incorporated the original tetris and tetr.io color schemes into some of the pages. arcade styles are usually my go-to when i am given creative liberty. see below:
