The ASHE Lab is dedicated to the development of student researchers through collaboration on our current project. All undergraduate student researchers must have completed SOCY 101, ANTH 211, or PUBL 100 with a B or better. Graduate students in programs other than sociology must be in aligned disciplines or fields and have completed sociology coursework at the undergraduate or graduate level.
We will be accepting undergraduate student researchers who wish to receive course credit through SOCY/ANTH/PUBL 490 for Fall 2025. You may earn between one and three credit hours.
Depending on funding, the ASHE Lab may be able to financially support a small number of part-time research assistants. Student researchers hired to be paid through these funds are expected to commit to working with the lab for a minimum of one semester for at least five hours per week.
Student researchers may express interest in gaining experience with the ASHE Lab by emailing Dr. Dunn-Gallier with a brief statement of interest and a copy of your most recent transcript by the start of registration for the semester you are hoping to work with us.
