2024 Staff Award for Superior Service
I have been with UMBC since 2002, both as a graduate student and as an employee. After working with the Sociology and Anthropology undergraduate program for several years, teaching academic success classes, and performing research through my grant, I moved to the Mathematics and Statistics Department in 2010 as Coordinator of the undergraduate and graduate programs. In this role, I schedule our courses, hire and place our teaching assistants, give course permissions and assist with advising, work with graduate student admissions and progressions, and provide recommendations for students. It is my hope that by providing the best service possible, I contribute to the success of our students as well as the efficient operation of our department.
