INSDSG 697: Special Topics

Catalog Description

This is an advanced course offering intensive study of selected topics in instructional design. Course content varies according to the topic and will be announced prior to the advanced registration period. 3 Lect Hrs, 3-6 Credits.

For a course to become part of the INSDSG curriculum, it must first go through a "governance" process. A new course, or changes to a course, are submitted for approval to the program, the college, and the university. In order to provide a one-off course that covers a timely topic, it can be offered one time as a "Special Topics" course. In addition, a course that is being developed for the curriculum can be offered as a Special Topics course before it goes through the full governance process which can take up to a full semester.
