If you are having trouble registering for classes, you may have a "negative indicator" (red circle with slash), which results in an academic hold on your account. If this is the case, you will be prevented from registering until the hold is cleared. There are various reasons for these types of holds. Below are some of the types of registration holds you may have and how to remove them.
If you see this hold on your WISER account, you need to submit your immunization records. The easiest way to remove this hold is to simply submit your immunization records, particularly if you plan to attend any on-campus event, such as Commencement. Online students also have the option to submit an Exemption Form However, this form must be submitted every semester. University Health Services provides information on the immunization requirements.
If you see this hold, you need to provide your emergency contact information. Follow the directions in WISER. Please note that WISER will prompt you to submit this information at least once a year. You can find a tutorial on how to release this hold at the WISER help for students page
If you see this hold, your account is not current with the Bursar's Office and payment may be due. Please contact the Bursar's Office to find out how to remove this hold.
If you see this hold, please contact the Bursar's Office to find out how to re-submit your payment.
