The Instructional Design MEd program requires twelve (12) courses total: 8 (eight) core courses and four (4) elective courses.
The following eight (8) courses, required of all degree candidates, provide a foundation and a context for the instructional design process. The first two courses (INSDSG 601 and 602) form the basis of the program and should be completed first. The remaining six may be completed at any time during the program.
(NOTE: The eight (8) Core requirements listed here are for students matriculating Fall 2016 and later. There are six (6) Core requirements for students who matriculated prior to Fall 2016: 601; 602; 604; 618*; 624 and 690.)

Students who matriculated prior to Fall 2016 and who have not taken 618 or 624, may take 642 to count for those two core courses, but must take one other elective to make certain h/she has all 36 credits to complete the MEd degree.
