Which Papers Should I Choose?

In total, you must include two (2) essays in your portfolio, and a third paper is optional:

• Two 1250+ word papers from CRW 282

• Optional: A 750+ word paper from any UMB course

  • You are not required to include a third paper, but it is strongly recommended 

  • In choosing your third paper, ask yourself these questions to keep the evaluation criteria in mind:

    1. • 1. 1. Which of my papers best demonstrates my ability to sustain focus on a position, argument, or inquiry?

            2. Which of my papers best demonstrates my ability to cite, explain, and analyze sources?

            3. Which of my papers best demonstrates my ability to organize my writing?
