The World Usability Day scavenger hunt is a social media contest aiming to engage the UMass Amherst campus community in learning about the importance of, as well as the history and advocacy efforts behind, designing accessible and usable spaces, products, services, and more to create an inclusive world for people with disabilities. World Usability Day (WUD) is a single day of events occurring around the world on Thursday, November 8th that brings together communities of professional, industrial, educational, citizen, and government groups for our common objective: to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.
The UMass Amherst Assistive Technology Center provides education, training, and support on disability, accessibility, universal design, and assistive technology tools to the UMass Amherst campus community and beyond.
