Our Equity & Inclusion Statement

Statement on equity and inclusion

We hold ourselves and our work accountable to scientific ethics by working to establish a community in our lab that is transparent, safe, supportive and engaging. In our science, we follow the Ecological Society of America’s Code of Ethics.

We are committed to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI) and do not tolerate any action that invokes harm on others or society, including racial discrimination, gender bias, sexual harassment, or other similar prejudices. Our community guidelines rely on a foundation of respect – of individual experience, of scientific inquiry, and of collective knowledge.
