Prospective students interested in pursuing an MS or PhD in Kinesiology starting in Fall 2024 are encouraged to complete the UMass NMBL Prospective Graduate Student Questionnaire. Completion of this questionnaire is required to be considered for an open position. Contact Dr. Roelker (sroelker@umass.edu) for questions about research and details of the open positions. Application Submission and Review Steps

• Complete the UMass NMBL Prospective Graduate Student Questionnaire - Deadline: November 1st, 2023

• After Nov. 1st, Dr. Roelker will review all submitted questionnaires. Select applicants will be invited for a virtual interview in mid November. It is recommended that applicants work on preparing their formal Graduate School application during this time.

• Submit your formal Graduate School application. 

  • Priority Deadline: December 1st, 2023

  • Final Deadline: February 1st, 2024

• Priority consideration will be given to applicants who submit their formal application packet to the Graduate School by the Priority Deadline.

Highly motivated undergraduate students with an interest in learning about biomechanics research and human movement are encouraged to contact Dr. Roelker (sroelker@umass.edu) about current research opportunities for undergraduate students.
