The Movement Neuroscience Laboratory is part of the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. The fundamental goal of the MNL is to improve quality of life in neurological populations. To achieve this goal, we aim to identify the neurological mechanisms associated with impaired ability to perform activities of daily living (e.g., locomotion). Ultimately, we want to apply what we learn from our research to develop targeted interventions that will improve the efficacy and individuality of rehabilitation.Â
