Research design in progress [Sep '24 to Apr '25] on how adult players can achieve the desired Foundation 3 (F3) outcome
The Gaelic Games Player Pathway provides a comprehensive framework for club players at every stage of their GAA career. Starting with Foundation 1 for ages 4-6, the pathway emphasises fundamental movement skills. It progresses to the Elite/High Performance stage for players aged 23 and older, tailored to intercounty adult players. Each stage specifies its objectives, its importance, and identifies key support providers.
This site aims to provide resources and guidance on how players can achieve the desired outcomes at each stage, commencing with Foundation 3 (F3) resource pack for the second year under 18 Minor GAA player.
Current resources are focused on the Foundation 3 (F3) stage, to support the player's commitment to Gaelic Games and active lifestyle, specifically the under 18 year old players when preparing move from Minor to Adult playing levels.
Additional research is currently in progress for the Foundation 3 (F3) female GAA players, aged 16 to 21 on how playing capacity management can be self-regulated.
