The Tunisian Society of Microbial Ecology (ATEM) is thrilled to announce its fourth International Conference on Microbial Ecology, ATEM’23, jointly organized with the inaugural Congress of the "Sciences Horizons Association" (ASHO). This collaborative scientific event, which will take place from December 7th to 10th, 2023, at the Diar Lemdina Hotel (Hammamet, Tunisia), will unite researchers from diverse nations, all converging at the nexus of microbial ecology, where chemistry and biology harmoniously intersect.

As life and biodiversity mature, so does our understanding of genes, genomes, and environments. In the current “Omics” era, microbial ecology unfolds anew, offering fresh insights into ecosystem dynamics and drawing the interest of a new generation of microbial ecologists.

Since its foundation in 2012, the Tunisian Society of Microbial Ecology (ATEM) has evolved into a thriving scientific community dedicated to the study of microorganisms and their intricate roles within ecosystems. With the launch of the 4th ATEM International Conference on Microbial Ecology, we embark on a journey that underscores the expanding challenges and enduring enigmas posed by microbial life.
Under the theme 'From Microbial Lifestyle to Styling Ecosystems,' we embark on a transformative journey to explore the intricate world of microbial life and its profound influence on ecosystems. This theme symbolizes our commitment to unraveling the multifaceted aspects of microbial existence: from the dynamics of natural environments to the resilience of extremophilic microorganisms, and from symbiosis to pathogenesis, all while fostering scientific cooperation and igniting a passion for discovery.
