MODULE OVERVIEW

FSP1001 : Introduction to Social Protection 

In this introductory module, participants will learn the basic concepts of social protection. Participants will be able to understand the system and its role in facilitating development in the local and global context.  The participants will be able to explore the existing social protection framework and critically analyse its efficiency and effectiveness, along with crucial flaws that need to be addressed. 

FSP1002 : Ageing and Related Issues 

This module will explore the concept of ageing, aged population and the issues that arise from both. A critical study that is diverse in its coverage, ranging from the gerontology perspective of ageing, the socio-economic consequences of ageing and to the existing social protection initiative. Participants will also be exposed to the health issues affecting the older population, with a big focus on dementia. 

FSP 1003 : Personal Financial Planning and Introduction to Retirement Planning 

This practical module will guide participants to start practising good money management skills in preparation for retirement. Participants will learn the concept of retirement and healthy retirement practices. An insight to the current retirement concern, the experts will provide an easy to follow guidance to retirement planning.
