An in-depth review to the financing of social protection in relation to population ageing will be discussed. Participants will then explore the different problems affecting the efficiency of the system by studying case studies on different countries’ experience.
Learning will focus on the foundation of pension and the related instrument that drives the system’s sustainability. Critical outlook of the system will see participants analyse its capacity to support the increasing older population’s need. This in preparation for the introduction of different reforms on the pension system and how it can be achieved.
