Recomendaciones de participación para los estudiantes:
• Todos los alumnos se comprometen en subir a la internet el avance de sus proyectos en las fechas correspondientes y anunciar solamente a los miembros de su grupo virtual multinacional (revisores y alumnos) correspondiente que los proyectos están en línea para recibir consejo.
• Encuentra tu grupo virtual con tu nombre.
• Todos los alumnos deben otorgar alguna crítica virtual a sus compañeros de grupo virtual tan pronto como los proyectos están en línea.
• Proyectos de alumnos deben ser nominados solo por sus profesores/instructores locales.
• Si algún alumno merece ser nominado para participar en el concurso final debe dar constancia que ha dado por lo menos 3 críticas a sus compañeros de su grupo virtual (copia de emails, etc.). No cuenta dar críticas a los alumnos de su misma escuela. La crítica es un punto de vista que un alumno puede dar a otro alumno y debe ser guiada por el profesor. Dar critica beneficia no solo al que la recibe pero también al que la da.
• Los alumnos ganadores del concurso se comprometen a mantener su trabajo (en formato pdf) en un servidor en línea el cual trabaje después de terminado el semestre académico, y así proporcionar acceso indefinido a sus proyectos.
Beneficios:
• Disfrutar de la posibilidad de conocer cómo otros estudiantes en Latinoamérica diseñan el mismo tema de taller.
• Disfrutar de la atmosfera del taller virtual y hacer amigos en otras escuelas de arquitectura en Latinoamérica.
• Compartir ideas y ser capaces de formular una opinión positiva acerca del proyecto de otros participantes.
Recomendaciones de participación para los revisores virtuales:
• Cada revisor virtual otorgara critica a los alumnos virtuales en sus respectivos grupos multinacionales. Las críticas se realizan normalmente después de cada entrega (ver el calendario de entregas en la página).
• Encuentra tu grupo virtual con tu nombre.
• Cada revisor virtual puede votar para elegir el ganador del concurso del Taller Virtual de Las Américas.
Participation recommendations for students:
• All students should commit upload to the internet the progress of their projects in the corresponding dates and notify the members of the relevant multinational virtual group (reviewers and students) the projects are online for advice.
• Find your virtual group with your name.
• All students must provide a virtual critique of their fellows in their multinational group as soon as projects are online.
• Student projects must be nominated only by their professors / local instructors.
• If any students are to be nominated to participate in the final competition they must certify that they have given and received at least 3 critiques to and from fellow students in their multinational group (copy of emails, etc.). Critiques given or received from local fellow students will not count. Critiques are a view that a student can give another student and must be guided by the professor. Giving critiques benefits not only to the recipient but also the giver.
• Students with winning projects in the competition should commit to keep their work (in pdf format) on an online server which will stay after the end of the semester, thus providing unlimited access to their projects.
Benefits:
• Enjoy the opportunity to meet other students in Latin America who are designing the same studio theme.
• Enjoy the atmosphere of the virtual studio and make friends in other schools of architecture in Latin America.
• Share ideas and be able to formulate a positive opinion on projects of other participants.
Recommendations for virtual participation reviewers:
• Each virtual reviewer will give critiques to virtual students in their respective multinational groups. Critiques are usually performed after each deadline (see deadline schedule on the blog).
• Find your virtual group with your name.
• Each virtual reviewer can vote to choose the winner of the competition of Las Americas Virtual Design Studio.
