A Note From Mrs. Marple:

As this is my 33rd year of teaching at Union Local, I am excited to be able to teach your child this year! Please know that we, (Union Local) have taken every precaution to keep your child safe during these unprecedented times, and we appreciate your patience during this years start up. This administration truly does care about your child, you and our community!

For this year, my instructional strategies have changed to a more condensed scaled back format from previous years to maximize your child's learning in and out of my classroom. I will strive to make my class an escape for all of my students. This class will provide each of my students with the opportunity to tap into their artistic potential and express themselves in their own unique ways.

While out of my class, they will be seeing me with my created posts for each week as they learn about art while creating their masterpieces. When they are in my class, we will have a more relaxed and meaningful time together having discussions about their questions and online learning.

With this new format, it will differentiate instruction, as this will help your child to promote leadership in their problem solving skills while allowing for more personalized feedback and assessment.

I am honored that you have given me the chance and opportunity to educate your child under these circumstances and I pledge to do my best to keep your child safe, creative and challenged while having fun!!!

After 33 years, I am proof as an educator that we are never too old to change in our teaching strategies and skills for your child's needs! 😊
