GSS.A1 I can identify and define experimentally testable questions and variables.
GSS.A2 I can locate and evaluate research on a topic.
GSS.A3 I can design and execute an experiment to investigate a relationship.
GSS.A4 I can draw conclusions from patterns in data and observations.
GSS.A5 I can use conclusions from investigations to drive further inquiry.
GSS.A4 I can draw conclusions from patterns in data and observations.
The SeeSaw post shows our group tracking motion to extract slope data which is average acceleration.
At first I was graphing the wrong slope of the wrong graph, but Mr.Brunner guided me to the right one.
With points all over the graph I have a hard time seeing trends, but I am good at making Logger Pro tell me the average slope of data.
I sometimes let my lab partners think about the graphs and data instead of trying to make sense of them myself.
From now on drawing conclusions from data in graphs needs to involve me! I will make a point to ask questions and focus on reading graph systematically.
