Term one 2022/23
New Waterproofs
The Parent Council was purchasing waterproofs and wellies for the whole school. When Tanera asked Highland Industrial Supplies if we could get a discount they offered the waterproofs for free, thanks very much H.I.S.
The P1-3 joined the Nursery again for Outdoor Learning. They looked at our bodies this week by making body shapes with string and used sticks and stones to represent what was inside.
Outdoor Learning for the P4-7 this week was less strenuous, with pupils learning about Hazel trees and how to use bow saws safely.
The P4-7s continued to investigate the Achiltibuie Badger Set

Week 2 of Outdoor Learning was in more challenging conditions with strong winds blowing.
The beach was a very windy place to be

Outdoor Learning started again this week at Achiltibuie, with Fiona and Kat from Living Landscapes leading sessions with a focus on emotions. The P1-3s joined Nursery at the beach and the P4-7s had an adventure up the hill, seeing dolphins in the distance, badgers on video and found an Eagle's feather.
