Research Center for Complex Physical Systems (RCCPS) is a research center which belongs to Lucian Blaga Univeristy of Sibiu from Sibiu, Romania. The center was founded and certified CNSIS in 2012 and belongs to the Faculty of Sciences. In the last years the staff has been updated according to our values and strategies, however, though the years, the center included professors, researches and PhD students which coordinated the research in a constructive and consistent manlier.
RCCPS is focused on fundamental and applicative research and is was designed to conduct and foster collaborative research dedicated to better understanding the processes related to physics, nanostructures and nanomaterials, biomedical and industrial materials or health by finding solutions for improving the life's quality.
The Centre has three compartments based on the research performed. Our scientific staff is specialized in a wide range of fields:
the processes derived from physics and electronics and the development of nanomaterials and composites are conducted in the NANOMATERIALS AND NANOSTRUCTURES compartment
the research for clinical investigation in various medical diseases in the CLINICAL AND BIOMEDICAL RESEARCH compartment
the research regarding drug administration and new innovative systems in medical fields in the MICROBIOLOGICAL AND CELLULAR RESEARCH compartment
