On Arrival

Unfortunately, Covid has not completely gone away...

Please take a LATERAL FLOW TEST in the 48 hours prior to the event and do not attend if you test positive.

Please SANITISE your hands as you enter the venue and maintain good hand hygiene throughout the event.

Remember to CHECK-IN using the NHS QR code.

Pick up your TEAM DISC on arrival.

The Infection Control Policy that will be in place over the weekend can be viewed HERE.

Remember!

  • USE THE TOILETS - This is the University's premier outdoor sports facility and using the bushes to go to the toilet will not be tolerated. Please plan in toilet breaks, just like you plan to fill up your water bottle.

  • NO DOGS - Please tell any friends and family that are planning to come. This is an extremely good quality venue and dogs will not be allowed on site.

  • THE PLAYING AREA - Please do a visual check of the playing area and remain vigilant for any potential hazards on and close to the pitch.

  • KEEP THE SIDELINES CLEAR - Gaps in between pitches are for safety reasons, please do not sit in those gaps or fill them with items such as kit bags, chairs or prams.

NOTE

There will NOT be any indoor cover over the weekend in the instance of wet weather. Please come prepared for all possibilities, so bring lots of layers, waterproofs and bin bags to cover your belongings.

Spirit Links

Make sure that you enter your spirit scores before midnight on Sunday 29th August, otherwise your submissions will not be counted!
We WILL hand out the spirit award at the end of the weekend, so if you want your score to count towards who wins, submit your scores as soon as each game finishes.

Water

Water will be available from taps based inside of the pavilion. We recommend that players bring AT LEAST two 1 litre water bottles with them - and pre-filled if possible.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU FILL UP YOUR WATER BOTTLES IN PLENTY OF TIME BEFORE YOUR NEXT GAME.

With the taps being inside, and the possibility of queues, please give yourselves plenty of time to fill up your water. It might not be easy to get quick access to a tap mid-game.

Showers & Toilets

Changing rooms, showers and toilets will be located in the Pavilion. Signs will indicate which are male and female.

Check out the Map to see where things will be on the day.

First Aid & Physios

First Aid will be located near the two pavilions. It will be visible with the location of the ambulance and the first aid tent.

Physios will be located in one of the changing rooms in the Pavilion, accessed through the same door as the showers and toilets.

Nearest A&E department

  • Queen's Medical Centre, Derby Rd, Lenton, Nottingham
    NG7 2UH

Please note, we are not able to offer the facility of driving players to the hospital, nor sending a volunteer to look after and stay with them.

If you come across a fire...

Please raise the alarm at the point closest to you (there are fire call points located in the buildings) or inform a member of staff immediately if one cannot be located. Then immediately make your way to a safe location far away from the hazard. Members of staff will be visible and all team captains should ensure that all of their team is accounted for. Team captains should then report to the TD to relay the information that their team is safe.
