PLEASE NOTE:

  • NO DOGS - please tell all friends and family that are planning to come.
  • KEEP THE SIDELINES CLEAR - Gaps in between pitches are for safety reasons, please do not sit in those gaps or fill them with items such as kit bags, chairs or prams.
  • THE PLAYING AREA - Please do a visual check of the playing area and remain vigilant for any potential hazards on and close to the pitch.
  • TAKE OFF YOUR WATCH/FITBIT - We urge players to adhere to rule 3.4. in the Official WFDF Rules of Ultimate 2017.

Water

Water will be available from tap on the BOATHOUSE building (which is just by the bridge).

We recommend that players bring AT LEAST two 1 litre water bottles with them.

Showers & Toilets

Changing rooms, showers and toilets will be located in the main building - signs will indicate which are male and female.

The sports centre will open from 08:30 on both days so please be patient whilst the venue staff open the building. Also, the venue will remain open until 18:30 on Saturday to enable players to shower but please be as quick as possible!

Portaloos will also be available at the fields.

FIRST AID & PHYSIOS

First Aid will be located near the TD desk. It will be visible with the location of the ambulance and the first aid tent.

Physios will be located in the pavilion.

Please remember that the physios are only there for new injuries though so only see them if you need to - they are not there to treat a recurring injury or to strap up something that you know needs doing.

Nearest A&E department

  • University Hospital Of North Durham, North Road, Durham, County Durham, DH1 5TW

Tel: 01913332333 (A&E: 01913332131)

Please note, we are not able to offer the facility of driving players to the hospital, nor sending a volunteer to look after and stay with them.

If you come across a fire...

Please raise the alarm at the point closest to you (there are fire call points located in the buildings) or inform a member of staff immediately if one cannot be located. Then immediately make your way to a safe location far away from the hazard. Members of staff will be visible and all team captains should ensure that all of their team is accounted for. Team captains should then report to the TD to relay the information that their team is safe.
