In 2022 we took a decision to start a shift in the way we process, publish and celebrate Spirit of the Game - we created this site to collate all results and began to move away from a SOTG 'winner' for each event. We want to help teams and clubs see SOTG as something long-term.Â
We have introduced two annual awards:
Spirit of the Game - Club of the Year, to be announced at the end of the outdoor club season
Spirit of the Game - University of the Year, which will be announced at University Mixed Outdoor Nationals (UXON) in the summer
To calculate scores we combine data across the three divisions and teams within a club and will include both Indoor and Outdoor seasons.
