Strategic Information and Software Systems (SISS) research lab focuses on the design, development, implementation, and management of information systems and software in a way that supports and enhances organizational strategies. Our research involves understanding how technology can align with business goals to improve efficiency, decision-making, and competitive advantage in various industries and business domains. The covered domains include healthcare, the environment, government agencies, and educational institutions.
SISS gathers experts in information systems development and management, information systems in healthcare, software requirement engineering, software testing, software management, business intelligence and knowledge management from the Research Center for Software Technology and Management (SOFTAM), Fakulti Teknologi dan Sains Maklumat (FTSM), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Currently, the lab consists of 10 research fellows as members.
