INTRODUCING THE UNIVERSITY OF KHANH HOA
The University of Khanh Hoa was established under Decision No. 1234/QD-TTg dated August 3rd, 2015 of the Prime Minister on the basis of Nha Trang Pedagogical College and Nha Trang College of Culture , Arts and Tourism; the School is a public, autonomous, and application-oriented university, which is directly under the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province; The School trains and provides high-quality human resources in the fields of pedagogy, tourism, languages, economics - business, natural sciences and technology, social sciences and humanities and arts; It is also a center for scientific research and technology transfer to serve the socio-economic development of Khanh Hoa province as well as the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions, contributing to the socio-economic development and international integration of Viet Nam. With the Core values “Professionalism - Creativity - Connection – Humanity”, and educational philosophy “Comprehensiveness – Liberalization”, the University of Khanh Hoa will try to be a national and regional standards university by 2035, aiming to become a "Smart and Green" university.
Currently, the University of Khanh Hoa is training 17 University-level majors with 29 specializations and 6 College-level majors of Arts; with over 3,600 full-time students; The school has been presiding over or coordinating to implement many projects at state-level, ministerial-level, provincial-level and school-level, in the fields of Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Tourism, etc.; and has established cooperative relationships and signed MOUs with colleges and universities in France, Canada, Korea, Russian Federation, England , Australia and Japan. The Scientific Journal of the University of Khanh Hoa has 02 majors included in the State Council of Professors, with the score of 0.25 points (Interdisciplinary Culture-Arts) and 0.5 points (Mathematics). By 2024, the University of Khanh Hoa has achieved quality accreditation certificate for higher education institutions and two training programs have been granted certificates to meet the quality accreditation standards of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam.
