Our Philosophy
Our approach is grounded in the belief that fostering an inclusive, collaborative environment benefits students in numerous ways, extending their learning beyond the classroom and preparing them for future success.
Students have the opportunity to try something new, explore their interests, and interact across grade levels to promote social skills and empathy.
The After School Programme encourages leadership and responsibility, enhances academic and cognitive development, helps build a stronger school community, develops life skills and boosts students' self-esteem and confidence.
Parents also play a pivotal role in helping their children select and commit to their chosen activities which contributes to their learning experience.

What is the philsophy of the After School Activities Programme?
The program provides an opportunity for students to engage in educational activities in an atmosphere where social development is emphasised. The program is designed to offer students an opportunity to practise or learn skills and sports in a safe, friendly environment. Our hope is that students will try new classes and develop a new interest. Parents play an important role in helping their children commit to their chosen activities which contributes to their learning experience.
In addition to the After School Activities Programme, what other opportunities are there?
Clubs are also offered in Lower and Upper Schools. Clubs run during lunch/recess time and, for students in the Upper School, may meet after school. Clubs are organised by teachers based on student interest. More information about clubs will be communicated to students within the first few weeks of school.
In addition, our Sports Programme offers a wide range of sports for students in Upper school. For more information about this programme please click here or contact Matt Keyte (mkeyte@acs-schools.com).
We also offer an Instrumental Tuition Programme. For more information please click here or contact Colin Burstow cburstow@acs-schools.com.
