ABOUT US
UK-IAP brings together Independent Aesthetic Practitioners across the UK. We support members through community, shared information and a collective voice within the aesthetics sector.
This public hub introduces UK-IAP, explains how to apply for membership and helps approved members find community information and directory links.
WHO THIS IS FOR
UK-IAP membership is for Independent Aesthetic Practitioners. Applications are reviewed individually, including WhatsApp contact with admin to confirm eligibility.
Applying does not make you a member. Membership is confirmed only after the required checks and admin approval.
WHAT WE DO
• Bring Independent Aesthetic Practitioners together.
• Share UK-IAP updates, information and community resources.
• Support a collective voice within the aesthetics sector.
MEMBER BENEFITS
• Connect with fellow members.
• Receive UK-IAP news and relevant sector updates.
• Take part in voluntary community activity and promotion.
• Submit details for a separate directory listing.
The UK-IAP WhatsApp Community brings approved members together for announcements, shared information and discussion with other Independent Aesthetic Practitioners.
WhatsApp contact with admin is a required part of the application checks. Community access follows membership approval.
WHY JOIN THE COMMUNITY?
Stay informed through official announcements, connect with fellow members and share experiences. Take part in community discussions and voluntary promotion when you wish.
📲 How the Community Works
The Community is structured into multiple groups, each with a specific purpose. This keeps communication organised and relevant.
GOSSIPY CHAT
Our friendly space for everyday conversation, questions and mutual support. Share news and experiences, connect with fellow members and keep conversations kind and respectful.
DISCUSSION & ADVICE
Discuss sector developments, business questions and everyday practice. Share sources where possible and distinguish personal opinion from factual information.
EVIDENCE & RESEARCH
Share research, official publications and relevant source material, with a link, date and brief explanation where possible.
Useful documents and links are being organised in the existing UK-IAP Drive folders. Retired chats are no longer part of the active community guide.
SOCIAL MEDIA & PROMOTION
Share relevant posts, exchange ideas and support UK-IAP and members’ businesses. Participation is voluntary.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Read official admin notices, UK-IAP news and important community updates.
COMPLICATIONS & PRACTICE DISCUSSION
Share learning resources and discuss complications awareness. This group is not an emergency service.
PRESCRIBING DISCUSSION
Discuss prescribing arrangements and share general information from reliable sources.
Protect client and member confidentiality. Shared advice, contacts and resources do not mean UK-IAP has checked or endorsed providers, treatments, products or protocols.
COMMUNITY ACCESS FOR APPROVED MEMBERS
The WhatsApp Community is for approved UK-IAP members. If your membership has been confirmed and you need help accessing the community, contact info@uk-iap.co.uk.
Completing an access form does not approve membership or certify qualifications, insurance, treatments or products.
APPLY FOR UK-IAP MEMBERSHIP
Every application starts as pending. We check for duplicates, admin makes WhatsApp contact with the applicant, and eligibility is reviewed. Membership is approved only when these checks are complete and admin has approved the application.
An IAPIN, official badge and membership confirmation are issued only after approval.
Campaign-contact consent is separate from membership. Choosing not to receive campaign contact does not prevent you from becoming a member.
IAP DIRECTORY
The UK-IAP Directory provides public listings to help people find and contact Independent Aesthetic Practitioners and learn about their businesses.
Membership and directory listing are separate. A membership badge or listing is not evidence that qualifications, insurance, treatments or products have been checked or endorsed by UK-IAP. Clients should make their own enquiries before choosing a practitioner or treatment.
Please note:
Membership and directory listing are separate. To appear in the directory, you must submit your details for listing.
