Format
This is a 1-day workshop consisting of 10 papers. Each accepted paper will be allocated 30 minutes, including: a presentation by the author (20 minutes) and an open discussion with the audience (10 minutes). The number of participants will be limited to around 20.
Abstract submission
We welcome submissions covering a wide range of topics related to health and human capital, including but not limited to the interactions between health, education and the labour market. Submission from early career researchers are particularly encouraged.
Papers will be selected on the basis of extended abstracts (max 500 words). Each abstract will need to include three main sections: background and motivation, methods, and main results. The deadline for submission of the extended abstract is the 16th of March 2025 (abstracts submitted after the 16th of March will not be considered).
Submissions are now open and abstracts should be submitted to CastellonWorkshop25@gmail.com.
Abstracts will be reviewed by members of the scientific committee and acceptance will be confirmed by the 16th of April 2025.
Full drafts of accepted papers will need to be submitted by the 1st of June 2025 to CastellonWorkshop25@gmail.com. The drafts will be circulated among the participants in the workshop.

When and where
The workshop will take place on the 20th of June 2025 at the Universitat Jaume I in Castellón de la Plana, Spain.
Registration
There are no registration fees for participants and lunch and coffee will be provided. Participants will be responsible for their own transport and accommodation arrangements, but the organisers recommend Hotel Luz Castellón (https://www.hotelluz.com/en) which is within a 15-20 minute walk from the university and located opposite Castellón train station.
